Owners of one new build might find getting into their home a bit of a struggle after the entrance was partially blocked by a lamppost.
The street furniture partially blocks access to the home leaving it a difficult task to access it - and almost impossible if you use a wheelchair.
The lamppost is believed to have been put in place before the homes were erected, meaning the developer, who laid down paving stones and built a wall next to it, worked around the installation.
The property, which still remains unsold, was built as part of a new complex of homes in Boldon Lane, South Shields, near Newcastle, last year.
The homes are on sale from £235,000 and estate agents Signature have even offered six months mortgage free in a bid to lure in buyers.
The entrance to the home has been blocked by a lamppost which was already installed in the ground
The new-build complex of homes was constructed in South Shields, South Tyneside, last year
The position of the lamppost makes it a more difficult task to access the property and nearly impossible to do so if you use a wheelchair
However, suitors appear to have been put off by the lamppost situated in the middle of the entrance to one of the properties.
In fact, all the homes on the 10-property site, rugbyrep.com which stands opposite a row of deserted shops, lie empty with not a single one occupied six months after they were put up for sale.
The average cost of a home on Boldon Lane, where the development, built by Hepscott Developments Ltd, is located, is £102,000.
