It is crucial to be equipped with the right tools on hand when you are out in the field. Repair Patches

Let the sealant cure for up to 12 hours before using the repaired gear.

Then spread a thin layer of glue on the patch and cover an area at least as large as the patch. Allow the glue to become tacky and then press the patch down firmly and secure it.
