The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and Cheap Robot Vacuum walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. If it encounters a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving forward.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that must be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot vacuum for carpet mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a full cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality Cheap Robot Vacuum vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are great, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners require.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
