Window Sash Repairs

Check the windows sashes regularly for signs of damage, mildew and mold. By catching problems before they become serious you will save money on future repairs.

The sash is an interior framing that moves vertically either up or down in windows that open. This article will teach you how to do easy repairs to your sash.

Weather Stripping

Wooden window sashes can add an elegant appearance to your home. They are also sturdy and last for a long time when they are maintained properly. Weather stripping is the first thing to address when repairing sash windows. It's on both the frame and the sash. If it's loose or worn out, it can cause drafts, as well as other issues.
