Carpet Boost is another great feature. It provides the S9 more suction power when it comes in contact with carpeting so that it will be able to pick up more dirt. This unit also uses a square front design that gets closer to the corners and walls than older round designs. However, keep in mind that this model doesn't do well with shag or high-pile carpeting.

During our testing we discovered that the iRobot S9+ cleans thoroughly and efficiently on a range of floor surfaces, from medium-pile to hard carpets and rug. In our experience, the iRobot S9+ doesn't get very loud during operation and is a great option for those living with pets or children.

Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid

Some robot vacuum cleaners can be controlled using an app on your smartphone, while others have mopping technology for kitchen and bathroom flooring. They are a great option for busy families, and they are becoming more affordable. But if you want top-tech features on your robotic cleaner, you're going to need to pay a little more.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid is an all-in-one vacuum and mopping machine making it a great option for those living in a flat with multiple floors. Dual motors provide it with impressive cleaning power and the 0.6l dust bin can hold a lot of pet hair. The dustbin can be removed and emptied with ease, which is useful because you'll need to clean it often.

It's also simple to set up, though I recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the first time. Install the Eufy Home application and follow the instructions to connect it to your WiFi network. After you've completed this, the app will help you create an accurate map of your home. While the V3S Pro didn't earn a place in any of our top choices roundups of reliable sources that carry out hands-on testing, it still got high marks from reviewers at Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was easy to use and set up, however the battery life was short.
