Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great opportunity to earn equipment, weapons and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot permits you to carry pistols on the course of. Some people make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who are aiming for Suit Only. Some prefer having the additional pistol to make an additional gap. It is important to remember that to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo also adds an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it slotted.

Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled items slot is a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but could be improved. It's currently shaped like the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map and are able to be found at any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that allows players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players prepare the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will find their gear real money slots fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenge missions. Since many of these challenges could be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to get the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear latest slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful when you have to pass through a frisk later in the mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise be suspect. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you have reached the marker be sure to identify a group upon arrival.
