To bring the forged carbon fiber into a shape, workers simply need to cut off the proper amount of mass, then place it in a hot press mold, then squeeze it under heat. It takes only a few minutes make, whereas it could take hours to create the same part using traditional methods.

It's certainly costly already however, if the manufacturing process can be accelerated it could help save money on both labor and materials. Forged composites are also more flexible than carbon fiber woven and engineers can design complicated shapes without adding weight or cost.

The Lamborghini Sian has a futuristic sleek design that is optimized for aerodynamic efficiency. The Sian's hybrid system is powered by a supercapacitor which combines the power of an electric motor with the power of a battery with a voltage of 48 volts. The name Sian is the Bolognese word for lightning, and is an acknowledgement of Lamborghini's past and future. The alphanumeric suffix FKP37 is a tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piech. He was the person who brought Lamborghini to the Volkswagen Group and died just before the launch of Sian. Only 63 models were made and they're all sold out.

It's a car that's nearly comical in appearance however, it's still awe-inspiring.
