If you're on a budget and don't need a stroller that can double as a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold-down that fits into the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also has a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. However, it is missing some essential features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the latest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible car seat.

It is really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through all day bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. On our walk on the stony path, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers that we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It maneuvers expertly across different kinds of terrain, and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a large number of parents when it first came out. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat from parent to the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds in four simple steps and automatically locks without hassle. It can also be folded and stood up for easier transportation down the stairs or in the car's boot. The travel system is included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are easy to use using a single stroller cheap action, colour coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single buggy for sale pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also light and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great - it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be positioned towards the parents. This should reduce sibling disputes about who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big tray for gears, a bottle holder and snack trays. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents that like to be active. It's among the lightest strollers you can purchase for your child.
